This year's Hanover Industrial Fair (HMI) was held on the fairground site in Hanover from 7–11 April 2014. ACATEC was also present on the VDMA shared stand in Hall 7 as part of the Digital Factory, the leading fair for integrated processes and IT solutions.
The partner country for this year's HMI was the Netherlands. More than 5,000 exhibitors from 65 countries, primarily Germany, China, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey, came to Hanover. The main areas of focus this year were the transmission, generation and distribution of power using intelligent electricity grids, electric mobility solutions and Industry 4.0. With the latter topic the emphasis was on the high level of product customisation coupled with highly flexible production particularly in the area on industrial production.
In this light many visitors came to the ACATEC stand to learn something new and worthwhile about spyydmaxx® Enterprise technology. The hourly live demonstrations of ACATEC customer projects impressively showed what ACATEC customers have already achieved through the use of spyydmaxx® Enterprise and the advantages they have gained over competitors.
