ERP/SAP Automation

Documents at the push of a button - master data automatically synchronized

"Can your product configurator also control our ERP system?" We are often asked. Yes, speedmaxx can do that.

Because the integration of the ERP system is important to automate the business process. This creates freedom of action for the sales department, even if the customer configures it himself.

Best integrated

For many companies, the ERP software is the "leading" IT system for managing business processes such as merchandise management, accounting and controlling. It goes without saying that we integrate our product configurator into your system landscape. Of course, this also applies to the ERP system SAP.

The goal is always to automate the processes. If the data streams are fully digitalized, this will bring you the desired benefits, e.g:

  • Reduction of throughput time
  • Improvement of product results / freedom from defects
  • cost reduction

You can dispense with time-consuming manual processes

The configurator works rule-based, i.e. it always extracts the required data from the systems involved at the right time. It also generates rule-based documents for subsequent processes or for communication with customers.

Secure data access - thanks to interface competence

ERP interfaces are available for many applications; we develop individual ones in-house. At runtime, thanks to our CPQ or CPQE software, you receive exactly the data, images, texts and calculation rules that are necessary for the smooth processing of your business processes: Both for online configurators and for local configurators, such as those used in design. This gives your company flexibility and freedom of action.

How it works with SAP

To enable technical integration and business
data exchange between SAP components and between SAP and non-SAP components, SAP has created the Business Framework. Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs) are an important part of this framework.

They represent the visible interfaces at the component boundaries - and ensure the integration of the components. This works both within a local network and over the Internet. Product module (internally called SAPLINK) uses these mechanisms for secure, bidirectional access to SAP using RFC-enabled BAPIs.
